Hello!
Some years ago, those odd people at Virgin Atlantic had this
contraption made available, Virgin Webplayer.

It was one of those things that had the intelligence of a some what
slow witted computer, (think I486 based laptop), married with the
capabilities of today's models.

When the company discontinued the service around 8 or 9 years ago,
people glommed them for the obvious purposes. As always I am on the
lookout for new, (well new to me) items to turn into projects.

If anyone still has one of these things hanging around in his (or her)
place, and wouldn't mind exchanging it for some freely available
support I wouldn't mind providing it.

I grok that they are supposed to be available via Ebay, but that
service has always behaved strangely towards me for some reason.
