My first boss now has a client in Forest Hills and asked me
to recommend an ISP for them...

the client is using an isp he found by doing a quick search, and he
needs something better.

I recommended he find something close to home, where he can get a good
word of mouth recommendation.
He needs an isp that knows how to support me while enhancing his
application
(ie I need easy access to the database) and simultaneously support the
application
running in a production mode.

He's in Forest Hills. 
Can you recommend an isp that's used to supporting small businesses
that roll their own software?

I thought of Pilosoft, because they are active on this list.
I thought of possibly ACE, as I recall they were out in Queens.   
And I thought of bway.net, because they are active in nycwireless.
