[nylug-talk] FreeCulture @ NYU and FreeCulture @ Columbia Photo Mob Meet Friday, April 4th

Greetings, fellow NYLUGgers!

As I had mentioned yesterday at the meeting, FreeCulture @ NYU and
FreeCulture @ Columbia will be holding a photo-mob quest to
take free pictures of Manhattan. The best shots will be uploaded to
Wikimedia Commons for inclusion into Wikipedia articles about NYC
that need photos.

Looks like it may rain tomorrow, so the meetup is postponed until April 4th.
The winning team members will each receive an iPod shuffle
loaded to the gills with Creative Commons music, and runner-ups receive a
copy of O'Reilly Media's "Wikipedia, The Missing Manual".

If anyone's interested in teaming up, let me know. I may attend!
