Take a chance, you'd be surprised who shows up. If anyone shows up
just to mess with you, then tell your university that they're
attempting to disrupt the free speech of your club and
they'll probably be booted out for good.
Part of going to school is exposure to new ideas and people so that you
can expand your experience and knowledge. Your university *should*
protect that right and stop anyone from treating your club poorly.
Also, why the hell would you be afraid of a bunch of computer geeks?
They're all hot air most of the time. Hell, if you start your club
I'll come and give the first presentation of how we're using Linux at
a big bank and *not* windows. Other people would come too if you asked
and told them when.
Just take the chance and you'll probably find that it's more fun than
you imagined.
