This is the point of my confusion.  Are there other platforms for which 
it is not free still?  The way they word it implies that it still may be 
not free someplace, perhaps on some future platform.  If they would just 
say "QT is free everywhere" it's shorter, clearer, and gives me 
assurances that listing Windows, OS X and *nix does not.

Trying to wrap my head around Debian politics makes me bleed from the 
ears.  At least the GNU FDL docs have escaped from non-free.
