I believe I answered this earlier.

I am in Brooklyn, they are in Chicago so thats not going to happen.
But even if they were in NYC area I would not run it for them because
its not my job to be their DQ Department.

I've got a problem, I've tried describing it to them numerous times and the
solution was their regular standard operating procedure fixes most of which
I've outlined already.

Apparently the problem occurs when Firefox is running on the same machine
as thinkorswims application. Closing out Firefox eliminates software freeze up.

To add insult to injury the application has a 'feature' that
generates a 3mb file
with screen grabs and application configuration when said 'feature'
detects a 'performance problem.' It continues on by generating a dialogue
box asking me to send the zipped up file.

The cause for the freeze up now completely makes sense because when I had
experimented with completely unplugging the internet connection when
their application froze, it would unfreeze.

I dont know what the heck is going on behind the scenes but my guess
would be the
JVM is competing for that *whole* connection resource. If it doesnt
get what it wants it throws
a tantrum and puts the application on hold. Firefox however continues
to run fine.
Closing out Firefox will unfreeze the software.

Gasp! But I thought the whole purpose of Java was to be the software
equivalent to a saviour? It would lift the burden of understanding multiple
OS's by making everything platform independently cross compatibally
superlicious.
