They're in Chicago I'm in Brooklyn so thats not gonna happen.
But even still, this is a company that supposedly makes a profit
presumably they have a QA Department. Thats what QA
Departments are for, I know I have an unusual chart setup,
they know I have an unusual chart setup based on the
reports their software generates and sends out everytime
the thing slows down.
I know they outsource their development to Russia, St Petersburg
specifically. I know which company it is based on the info in the
jar files.
They are unwilling to do any discovery work to understand why the
charts slowdown.
Besides that their response would be to not run the charts the way I do,
they already advised me of that too.
To which I promptly replied that when I was working at ILX Systems our
customers didnt have problems with the WHOLE application freezing up
just because of a weird chart setup. Instead when that happened the
development team worked on improving the software.
Interestingly, even before that discussion arose I was advised that my internet
connection was too slow. So again, when I worked at ILX Systems customers
didnt have a problem with the whole software freezing up because of slow
data.
I can deal with slow data, but software lockup is intolerable.
