Thanks for that, I've tried jode but it wants gnu getopt for Java
which I have but dont know where to put it for the configure file
for jode to find it.   I've tried numerous locations and couldnt
get it to take.

I know about TA-Lib, I didnt know about GeniusTrader.
There is also QuantLib and a few others that I dont recall.

At this point I'll be extatic if I could get a chart up that doesnt
*always* freeze during intraday.
But before that happens I'll be happy if I can get streaming data first
without paying an arm and a leg for it.
