How would I check that? Is that the -Xms128m -Xmx256m entry?
I have 1 gig of RAM in the machine, it is currently set to what you see
above. Pmap shows: 510304K.

Mike, with all due respect I've been dealing with this thing for months.
I've tried a variant of suggestions.
My machine is a P4 with 1gig of RAM, the only other software I run
on this is Firefox.

I'm not interested in troubleshooting their software that is what their
DQ Department should be doing. I dont care how much memory it
uses at what time and what classes it loads to do so.
Because what it is going to boil down to is that I have spent countless
hours doing their work for them. If I am going to spend time troubleshooting
software I would rather do it with my own crappy code, not someone elses.

I'm fed up with their software and their attitude, although not nasty but wholly
unwilling to accept any blame.

The bottom line is their software, although very pretty, is incapable
of handling the data
that it receives. They want to tell themselves its 'that guy using
Linux again' is the problem.

Can you suggest any resources on how to load, or invoke (or something)
just the 'class' files to get an idea of how it works?

Thanks,
Steve M
