A few years ago I had a run in on a public list with a ex-radio show
host who had been presumably employed by Verizon to argue against
municipal networking. I would link into it, but it requires joining
the AZIPA yahoo group. The tact and guile of this character was
utterly astounding. Verizon is close kin to At&t, "mother of all
telecoms", and I would suspect is in on the whole surveillance thing.
And keep in mind, they didn't just build the fiber on their own
coin. They did it with yours! kinda gives you that warm and fuzzy
feeling doesn't it?
I've noticed your spelling is much more conformist these days... did
you install a spell checker? ;)
