thanks.  The only problem here is that I'd rather choke on a chicken
bone and die than use Verizon..

those SOB's have been choking off the NYC economy for more than a decade
with their refusal to open up OUR infrastructure.  First they install
fiber everywhere, and then they refuse to sell the bandwidth.  Then
they get this crackpot idea to rip up all the fiber and sell DSL.

They can scraatch my tush.
