Yes, and yes.  I personally keep hearing people talk about being sick of 
social networking, partly because there's so many of them and they don't 
interoperate.  Based on that and what I hear in the news, 2008 is the 
Year of Social Network Fatigue.

I recently ran across a promotion for "International Delete Your MySpace 
Day" (Jan 30).
