I can second that, getting a H1b visa is really hard and get a green
card, you need to have spent a long time in this country to get it (and
have a willing employer to sponsor you).
My experience is due to the cost of inmigration lawyers and the lengthy
process, most of the employers don't want to sponsor any visa.
