The problem with that is its a whole new piece of software that has something 
to do with my life.  Which means a whole 'nother can-o-worms, compatibility 
issues, and some snotty FLOSS developer telling me to stop whining and file a 
bug report.  But I don't play the "bugzilla game".

As dumb as it sounds, I'd rather spend an hour blue tooth'ing my contacts 
over, than having to run strace on GNU-Phone trying to figure out why the 
syncing failed, heh

Apologies for my extreme "cynicalism".

I wouldn't mind trying the above with an OpenMoko phone however.  Because it 
was open from the get-go.
