That's where bluetooth and syncml comes in to the picture -- of course
you sync it with your
desktop PIM before changing handsets.

What is sad about the US GSM operators is that they offer such crappy
phones with their plans.  There's no sexy phones at all in there...
where's all the nokia e- and n-series?  the sony ericssons?  Sure,
that only means you go get your own phone from an independent store,
but that also brings with it no service or support for the phone in
the US.

Also, no 3G here is getting painful....  EDGE just doesn't cut it.
