[nylug-talk] Problem connect to www on Fedora 1 box

Hi guys,

I just turned on my Fedora 1 box, it's been a while since I turn that box on
and it can't get on to www.  I wonder if it is because I switched from cable
to dsl.  I tried to unplugging the modem and rebooting.  It just doesn't
work.  But when I switch back to my Windows box, it works fine.  I did
notice that it had different network setting/ choice for cable and dsl.

Any idea what I need to do?  I am thinking just to upgrade the box to Fedora
6 (can't find F7) and see if it can auto-detect the connection.  I am not
knowledgeable about Linux.  What's your thought?
