I'm looking forward to seeing more. A couple of quick comments:

From a usability point of of view:
+ It is unusual, but welcome, to see a webapp that support a double
click (it opens the categories for me). I think that most folks will be
more used to a single click on the top-level category to "explode" it.
+ I'd suggest that if you keep the double click, that you should expand
the use. A double-click on an attribute on the left side should probably
cause some action - perhaps either defaulting to populating the
Preferred Attributes section, or populating a section on the right
that's highlighted (if that's even possible - I don't know my Ajax all
that well).
+ It was unclear to me that having Mandatory Attributes was, well,
mandatory.
+ In the results: why not make the Product Name hyperlink do something?
Perhaps you don't need the URL column.
Again, nicely done, looking forward to more.
