I wouldn't consider my primary online email store "a backup". Nor
would I consider my primary online data store "a backup". (Besides 15
years of email takes up less than 20GB.. Old email, in addition to
being scarce due to bitrot, also tends not to have large attachments.)
I think the deal is that they are trying to discourage people using
the service as a system to backup other servers to. If you are using
it as a primary fileserver, I see no issues, but I will clarify... (I
only have 100-200GB of data, if you include multimedia. But for
multimedia, I plan to use their files forever storage system.
