one question as I've only used the torrent thing on very rare
occassions: 

If you just get a torrent at an odd hour when no one else is
online, you are not 'seeding'. 

If you are downloading a torrent and someone else joins, that means that
one of you will be a 'seed'. 

And if multiple people get a torrent, then there can be multiple
'seeds'. 

So, at this stage I would think that the overall number of downloader to
these files will number less than 5, so it seems unlikely that any of
those folks will download it within a timeframe to allow 'seeding'.

Thus I'm not sure under what circumstance in the foreseeable future how
it can be sustainable.
