I last saw my life riding into a cave on the back of a Dodo some time
ago. You learn to plod on in spite of that. At least you'll have the
stability of owning your own home now. Congrats again about that.

You've got the RepRap tape right?

The Python workshop now meets at the Hudson Park Library, and the
General Meeting is held at Google. We'd like to do other things as
well. Although there's a lot of appeal to trying to piggyback off
Google, I'd like to be able to take matters in our own hands as much as
possible for the sake of stability, and for the sake of being able to
cover events aside from our General Meeting.

It would really great if we could pick your brain about a portable
broadcasting kit. Monjay used to get a taxi to bring in all of her
equipment and it was a bit of a production to set up, and needed AC
power from a wall outlet. Now that it's 2007 and we're living in a
world where it's all about the podcast/YouTube, what's the smallest
"kit", in terms of money, weight and bulk, and bandwidth, where we could
get audio and video of our events onto the Internet? (Presumably to
some other point that has the bandwidth necessary to be a redistribution
point)
