I wouldn't bet on it. DMCA, which is one of the most awful pieces of
legislature in US history, came into existence during the Clinton Era. (And
the Clintons are very, very chummy with the media industry.) (The Sony Bono
Act came into effect during the Clinton era as well.)

Don't expect anything from your elected officials. Pin them down on the
issues.

The problem with what they propose is that its up against the same
