Hello!
I agree. Normally, and before Slackware added the MySQL concept and
even PHP (For some strange reason the two go together like lox (smoked
salmon) and eggs and onions) I would do exactly what Brian is doing
and typically I would check to see what the auto* scripts wanted. Now
I simply add the packages and go along with that method that was
default.

Brian what distro are you building? If this is what I think it is,
tell me at the next group meeting.
