Can't answer B 'cause I've never chased this on google. I can tell you
what works for me re A: Don't run mozilla on ubx if you want to run
mozilla on walix.
I have occasion to run firefox (same deal, I presume) on a remote
machine, but I always have firefox open on my local box, so what I do
is start a second window manager instance (I use evilwm for this 'cause
it's very lightweight), ssh -X to my remote box, firefox &, and Bob's
your uncle!
If you figure out how to do what you're trying to do (both a local and a
remote instance of mozilla running under the same wm, please post back
to the list. Enquiring minds and all that.
Cheers,
