Thanks a lot for the offer, but another wonderful NYLUG resident beat 
you to it!  I picked it up from Scott Robbins yesterday, spent the 
evening rebuilding it and voila, I'm back in business.

Thanks so much to everyone for your advice and offers (of which there 
were so many!).  Special thanks to Scott for the fine machine.  My 
wife says thank you too. :-)
