Check out the HP Kayak. I've been buying them up on eBay for $75-$100 or so.
They're real workhorses. SCSI, dual processor capable.

Anyone know where I can pick up a old, cheap PC?  Think Pentium 2 or
3, coupla hundred megahertz, 256MB of RAM, etc.  That sort of thing.
You know, the kind of box people are throwing away all the time.
