It's not out yet, and may or may not be suitable for your purposes, but
Soekris is coming out with the net5501, which according to their website
(soekris.com) is a based on a 500MHz 586 class processor than can take
up to 1GiB of RAM.

Also, don't know what your budget is, but it will probably be priced
around $200.
