  Hi,

  While I'm aware that these new royalty rate increases in US mostly affect
  radio stations with non-CC music I still feel it is unfair to force them to
  close them all down like this. I just don't see the justification for such
  repression and besides, if we allow them to do this, what's next?

  So.. today, June 26, thousands of webcasters in US are going silent (or
  rather, off the normal program) in protest against these royalty increases
  hoping to change the outcome, which is that on July 15th, thousands of
  internet radio stations will be closed because they wont be able to afford
  the new royalty rates (which are super-high).
