So, I've convinced my boss we should migrate from a Windows Server
platform to Linux but our current managed hosting company seems over
priced and under savvy when it comes to Linux so I'm looking for some
recommendations.
Our one major need is bandwidth. Storage is a concern but our storage
needs are not abnormally high.
If we're talking colocation, it needs to be in or around Manhattan for
obvious reasons.
If we're talking managed hosting, they need to offer Debian Etch
(preferred!) or CentOS.
I know this info is all over the web but it's difficult to tell
sometimes how long a company has been in business and if their
infrastructure is actually reliable and not oversold. Any comments
(good or bad) on enterprise level hosting would be very much
appreciated!
Thanks, Rich(ard)
