Hello there
just my two cents
almost nothing will be wife/gf safe
I would suggest virtual machines in one box - but I know that is now what you are looking for

so here it goes
I don't know your budget or how heavy duty you are looking:

this is a bit pricey - I looked into this a while ago but ended up just using an empty office at work to store the machines

hope it helps

later

My home office is starting to burst at the seams with computers, and
keeping them tidy is becoming a problem.

There are currently 8 mini-to-full towers here, plus three mini-itx type
boxes, plus switches, KVM's, etc. They're currently deployed on a
kitchen/pantry style wire rack.

We like the tower config, it works well for our needs. Space is
currently cheaper than rack cases, and the noise of rack cases would
not be tolerable.

That being said, the wire rack is starting to sag from the weight, and
we're about to add two more towers. We already have two other towers on
the floor...

Can anyone suggest something that is at least marginally wife-safe, but
could be put into duty to store as many as a dozen and half PC towers?
Our current file server weights about 60 pounds; the replacement will
weigh 2-3x. A couple of other boxes here are pretty hefty.

In case anyone asks - yes, I have some terrific power bills - thanks ConEd!

Thanks.
