[nylug-talk] xmms or ?

Debian is debating removing xmms and its plug-ins because it depends
upon gtk1.2 and is dead upstream. But others says there is no good
replacement. Is it worth it to find some tortured soul to migrate xmms
to gtk2 or similar toolkits or is there something out there that can
replace it? Is xmms not in other distros?
