   Right.  Each vritual machine can be given a *virtual* ethernet device to 
use, regardless of what is *actually* present to the host OS.

   I believe packets should still be WPA encrypted, yes.  Or at least that's 
how this should work in theory, since the host OS is what transports packets 
for Virtual Machines.

   The Virtual Machine (Ubuntu) will have a different MAC and IP, so anything 
that puts limits on those may have to be tweaked.  Other than that I think 
the answer should be no.
