Thank you for the various recommendations to resolve this. I DID, in
fact, look into, verify and try all suggestions. The real issue was
that the subject server could not be resolved via domain name lookup.
As I am NOT running a local DNS on this subnet, I added a FQDN to its
/etc/hosts file and the error went away immediately and webmin started
functioning.
