NY and NJ are two different driving environments, in NJ you have to get to the
next intersection to just turn around. The next intersection could be
a mile down
the road.
Making a u-turn in Brooklyn is sometimes improvised right in the
middle of a the
street.
European streets are generally very narrow, just enough room for Roman chariots,
driving in many part of Europe is generally like driving in Manhattan.
Usually you need a pretty compelling reason to drive in Manhattan.
