I, of course, am comparing NY/NJ with driving in Europe, which is pretty 
straightforward most of the time. Another point, its very easy to make a 
U-turn in the UK for example, because every major intersection allows you 
to do that - I cannot say the same of driving in the US, so if you DO get 
lost it might take awhile to get back to the last known location.
