# Description: Our client, a global investment bank located in midtown
  NYC, is looking for a Systems Administrator to do performance analysis
  in support of a new Intranet reporting application. Application will
  need to process 3 million transactions a day to meet a new SLA.
  Administrator will work with the application architects and developers
  to identify bottlenecks and come up with solutions to improve the
  applications performance.

  Environment:
  * LINUX
  * Oracle (64bit, oracle 10g, Linux)
  * Weblogic

  Main Duties and Responsibilities
  The Administrator will be responsible to aid in the development and
  execute performance and stress tests of multiple financial
  applications

  Engineer should have experience in the area of performance engineering
  and the use of monitoring and automation tools.

  Administrator will be responsible to perform initial analysis of test
  results/data and to communicate and present test results to
  development and architecture teams.

  Specific responsibilities include:
  The Administrator will be responsible for aiding in the developing
  performance test plans, test cases and scripts that help identify
  current and potential bottle necks in systems by understanding current
  processing and technology platforms.

  They will aid in the execution of performance / stress test cases and
  be responsible for performing initial analysis and reporting test
  results.

  Possess understanding of current and future technology requirements.

  Knowledgeable of product area and technology.

  Analyze results and prepare test result reports Create automated test
  scripts.

  Assist in extensive infrastructure/application performance tests, when
  required, during off-hours.

  Work Experience Background
  Performance / stress testing experience on mid to large Banking /
  Investment Banking Brokerage.

  Back office IT projects
