  Note From the manager:

  The candidate should be of a Systems Administrator mindset. The
  candidate needs to have good communication skills. Technically the
  candidate should have good UNIX OS skills (Solaris 10), SQL skills and
  general networking knowledge.

  PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MIDNIGHT TO 8 AM SHIFT

  Pro-actively monitor the CitiDirect application as a night time
  support analyst during the midnight to 8 am shift.

  Provide real-time application support to eliminate or avoid customer
  impact. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems and outages in
  production, UAT and QC environments; by reviewing and interpreting
  various logs. Address trouble tickets that were opened to reflect
  system/software defects. Field technical calls from regional help
  desks and support centers, TP21 and EBOC as relates to Production and
  UAT customer support, and provide general application support to
  production and UAT user community. Support data center in resolving
  patch and codebase install issues. Participate in weekend production
  application validation (rotation schedule, approximately every 6-7
  weeks). Write production monitoring scripts. Assist in server build
  and checkouts whenever required.


# Required Skills: Minimum 5 years experience in a related technology
  field. Communication/telephone skills Qualified candidates should have
  good interpersonal and report writing skills. Analytical mind to
  diagnose and quickly resolve issues.

  Good understanding of software development and SDLC of web based,
  3-tier applications. Should have provided support to developers and
  users preferably in a 3-tier environment. Should have extensive
  troubleshooting experience.

  Ability to review and interpret various application logs.

  Technical Skills :
  Must have 2-4 years of experience working within a Systems
  Administration role with experience working with and supporting
  Solaris v.10 UNIX Operating Systems. Must have experience with SQL.
  Prefer a general knowledge or experience in networking or network
  concepts. Listed below are technologies that would be considered
  valuable.

  Programming Languages: Java, Active Server Pages, HTML, JavaScript,
  VBScript, Visual Basic, COM/DCOM and SQL Software &OS: Microsoft
  Windows 2000 Server, Solaris 10, IBM MQ Series and a solid
  understanding of Websphere Application server.

  Hardware : General knowledge or routers, 3-DNS, TCP/IP and networking
  architecture.
