I haven't used TECO for at least 10 years. Thanks for the pointer.
On PDP systems of varying flavors, it was possible to run
teco scripts, and the usual command line verb for this was
MUNG
What, you might ask, does MUNG mean?
It is a recursive acronym:
Mung Until No Good
