No one "took" it from me. I didn't get it, not that it would have been 
mine, anyway. It would have been owned by the investors, who ended up 
owning most everything.

The idea had to do with certain technology in an image processing 
reverse caching proxy.

Certainly, if I (or my company) had gotten the patent first, it'd have
enhanced my success at the cost of the other company. The patent number? 
Um, this was _years_ ago. I can hardly remember my home telephone#.

Why is this interesting to you? Not that it matters, this thread has
