I have a 16/4 token ring ISA card laying about somewhere (which back
when I used it in 2000 was well supported in Linux -- worked great for
NATting Internet access when I had IBMers over from work over for LAN
parties).
I live in Binghamton at the moment, but will be in Brooklyn for the
holidays. If I can find the hardware and it's convenient, I wouldn't
mind parting with it.

MAUs rock! You could snap together a network of laptops anywhere,
without any power cabling. But I guess today wireless is even more
convenient.
