Hello!
Okay, this may not be the best place to post this note. But since I
figured if I posted it to the two regular IBM (anything) lists
somebody there would probably have a bad reaction and scream at me.
That is two regular lists that normally have a good reception to my
notes. The other two I have a subscriptions to I haven't had a reason
to post to in a long while.

Now then....
I am currently looking to update my collection of IBM's token ring
hardware. I have here one, maybe two, ISA bus based boards, and two
PCMCIA ones. Also the usual collection of MAU devices, and a box of
associated connectors.

I will cheerfully collect from either your home or even place of
business any respectable sized token ring based gizmos now in your
possession.

This includes making a trip to either Staten Island, (directions
needed), of course Manhattan and Brooklyn, deeper into Queens, and
even back into Westchester County.

Jim if your listening, this even means even an IBM office. (Please
make those arrangements with security first.)

Back when token ring gadgetry was the popular networking standard
everyone nearly had a reason to use it. So that's by way of
explanation. Now its considered to be an oddity, and I'm still
interested in it.

Ron, Peter, if this post violates some sort of conduct, please contact
me appropriately.
