Guys,
I've never had that, or any other crap most datacenters pull *cough* level3, sungard *cough* at INTERNAP.
7+ years, 0 downtime, happy customer.

The kind where a bunch of electricians start working on the power wiring
for a row of cabinets and the company doesn't think it a good idea to let
customers know about the maintenance work. I got the call at 3am and when
I got there the foreman says "we didn't touch your cabinet" (meanwhile all
of our servers, switches, routers, in two full cabinets, went down at
exactly the same time), as the main power to the cabinets was cut...
OK, so shit happens and it's easy to just forget about it and move on. But
then SAME EXACT THING happened again a day or two later...
In the case of this particular server, the NIC failed to autonegotiate
full duplex the first time round. That was several months ago, now we're
seeing lots of transmit errors...
