[nylug-talk] NIC help

One of my servers has been showing execessive errors on the transmit side 
of its NIC interface. We swapped out the cable for a new one in case it 
was a cable issue but there hasn't been much improvement.

The NIC card is 3c980-C and worked just fine for a long time.

The strange behaviour started after a series of power outages in our data 
center (*cough* Level 3 *cough*). Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? I 
haven't made any changes to the kernel and/or drivers. Do you think the 
power outages caused hardware problems? Anyone seen anything like this?
