The original poster was talking about connecting one satellite office to HQ.  In another response your complaint was that openvpn does not scale.  A single connection is not a problem there.  When the organisation opens 23 more offices, scale could be a factor.  But for one line, it's fine.  (Actually, it's fine for at least three lines in my current environment, though my boss only knows about two of them).
