* Description: We are looking to expand our System Administration
 team. 

 The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented person with strong
 problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently
 in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple simultaneous
 projects. The candidate must be able to work individually or as part
 of a team, and must be able to efficiently communicate information
 to other [technical and non-technical] members of the company. 

 Visible World is the leading provider of technology and services in
 the rapidly growing digital video adverting industry. 

 Responsibilities:
 o Maintain 75+ servers (Windows 2000/2003, Linux), ensuring system
   uptime and security in accordance with corporate SLAs.
 o Perform in-depth troubleshooting of system and network problems.
   Automate administrative tasks through scripting.
 o Monitor system logs and activity.
 o Participate in developing and maintaining technical documentation
   for the department.
 o May lead or guide the work of other staff engaged in similar
   functions.
 o Coordinate with development team to schedule releases of
   application software updates.

 and deliver "IntelliSpots™": intelligent video spots that can be
 edited automatically at airtime to reflect the time, location, and
 context in which they appear. All while delivering traditional reach
 within any TV, broadband, or mobile media plan. 

 By enabling every ad to be as dynamic and diverse as the market and
 audience it captures, Visible World enables advertisers to develop
 and deliver smarter, more relevant, more effective video advertising.
 In addition, Visible World’s capabilities allow media partners to
 increase the value of and differentiate their ad inventory by
 providing customized, dynamic and targeted advertising. 

 Visible World is privately held by key financial and strategic
 investors (e.g., Comcast, Time Warner, WPP) and has experienced
 tremendous growth over the past 18 months, which is continuing to
 accelerate. We are seeking a set of talented individuals to help
 build upon and further drive the company's success - and who will
 enjoy the ride along the way. Visible World is located in New York
 City and offers a highly competitive salary, stock option, and

* Required Skills:
 o Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Windows/Linux
   systems administration.
 o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent industry
   experience).
 o Solid understanding of TCP/IP network concepts and setup.
 o Working knowledge of at least one high-level programming language.
 o Proficiency in administrative scripting using at least two of the
   following: Perl, Python, Shell, VBScript.
 o Hands-on experience in managing web, email, and file-sharing
   services.
 o Understanding of relational database design concepts.
 o Experience with VMWare Server or ESX a plus.
 o Experience with version control systems a plus.
 o Experience with multimedia systems a plus.
