For those who were at tonight/last night's meeting, I hope it is a model
for meetings to come. Among the amazing feats:
1. Two great presentations for the price of one!
2. Five books given away to reviewers
3. Jobs-a-plenty
4. Started between 6:30 and 6:35pm, Ended at 8pm, left around 8:10pm
5. All caught on video, with lots of still photos!
6. At TGI Fridays at about 8:20pm, ordering Chinese food around 9:30
I'll let everyone know as soon as the video and photos are available.
I'm going to try and thank everyone who made tonight possible all here,
in more or less the order they appear in the chain of events. I'm
guessing most people will be surprised by the length of this list.
* Jim Gleason (meeting space)
* Henry Chin (access to IBM)
* Jay at 590 Madison's security desk
* The helpful woman at IBM who makes sure everything works, and whose
name I can't remember because I'm scatterbrained just before meetings
* Jack Aboutboul (presenter)
* Fred Benenson (presenter)
* Christopher Grimaldi (videographer)
* Josh Kaplan (photographer)
* Laurence Dukhovny (dinner destination)
If I have forgotten anyone, I am horrified and blame it on this being
way past my bedtime. I'm also certain there are people at IBM who are
involved that I don't even know about. That's 9 people just on
Wednesday, and there's still more people doing other things.
