I work in 111 8th Ave, and Google has already finished at least the
lobby area (and, by implication, the office space). I've seen them for
the past 3 weeks or so on the 6th floor (their lobby is next door to one
of our datacenters). They're on the 9th Ave side.

Through the all-glass front door, you can see blue carpet, a nice desk
with one or two computers, and usually one person sitting behind the
desk. The colorful Google logo behind the desk. Plants and a bunch of
those curvy "modern"-type furnitures scattered throughout the lobby.

Haven't gone inside yet though, so don't know how complete it is. But
there are definitely people coming and going from there.


We also heard the same "rumors" that they were building out their
datacenter on the other floors. That information was passed onto us as
more than rumors, but these days, who really knows?
