[nylug-talk] Growing cluster of dead pixels

After about 2 years my 21" LCD display started growing
a cluster of black dead pixels at the bottom of the
screen.

Started off the size of a dime, and now they're about
the size of a JFK half-dollar.

They're not stuck on black, they're simply *out*, they don't
even reflect light the same way that the rest of the screen
does when it's showing a black background.

Is there even a chance of fixing it for less than a new one costs?
