Just for everyone's benefit...
We're ok with this regardless because it falls under "Open Source".

While none of us wants to clog the list with Windows topics, Windows
exists, we need to deal with it.  My first exposure to GNU was through
MSDOS ports of some *nix utilities, like AWK and MicroEMACS.

In any event, when I used to run a Windows server of my own, Perl looked
to me like the best way to script the thing.  It seemed there's a wealth
of Windows functionality in CPAN, and the Linux admin who uses Perl now,
should not find it difficult to integrate Windows boxes into the
existing setup.
