Maybe we should turn this into a nylug+ group?

Having a family is a personal decision that effects
life.
Here are three key numbers to consider:
1 - 17% of the gross for 1 kid
2 - 25% of the gross for 2 kids
3 - 34% of the gross for 3 kids.

Also, it does not matter how many times you have kids.

Also, I did not say that I was not looking for
something on the side.  This way, I can cover both
areas.  Keep my decent paying IT job, retire with some
medical(Chap 12's are increasing 25% per year in
Westchester - North of NYC) and try to have something
on the side.

The major corporations are killing the retirement
plans.  Medical/layoffs/divorce are the three major
reasons for bankruptcy, which by the way, effects 1
million people a year in the US.
