But most dads don't have to deal with misogyny and sexism in the work
place.  Of course, minority often have to deal with racism, which, in a
way is similar because it is all a form of hate. 

We all have to make decisions.  I don't work for a financial firm
because I don't want the stress.  So I work in an academic arena, which
has it's own particular form of BS, but the work load is more
manageable.  Since some of those unionized jobs sound like they are
making more than I am, it's kind of tempting.  Sometimes it's fun to
work with your hands.  Being a desk jocky gets a little old... but
perhaps I'd miss it as soon as I left, I don't know.
